We executed a turnkey 100 kW solar power installation at the Tiruvannamalai Court Building, delivering a comprehensive solution that includes system design, installation, testing, commissioning, and real-time monitoring.
This government facility, known for its high daily power consumption, now benefits from a clean, reliable, and cost-effective energy source. With 188 Novasis 550 Wp monocrystalline panels installed, the system is designed to produce over 1.5 lakh units (kWh) annually, significantly lowering electricity costs while promoting environmental responsibility.
This project contributes directly to the Tamil Nadu government’s commitment to renewable energy adoption in public infrastructure. The installed grid-tied system ensures maximum efficiency during working hours, while enabling smart energy tracking through a centralized monitoring platform.
Our team provided complete support—from initial site inspection and load analysis to final integration with the building’s electrical system—ensuring a smooth, efficient rollout with minimal disruption to court operations.

The 100 kW solar project at the Tiruvannamalai Court Building offers long-term operational, environmental, and economic benefits tailored to the needs of a high-usage public institution. From cost savings to energy resilience, this installation sets a benchmark for sustainable infrastructure in the judicial sector.
Before the installation of the 100 kW solar power system, the Tiruvannamalai Court Building faced several operational and sustainability challenges. As a high-energy-consuming government facility, it incurred substantial electricity bills due to its extensive daytime usage. The building was fully dependent on the local power grid, making it vulnerable to frequent outages and voltage fluctuations, which could disrupt essential judicial operations. Additionally, the facility lacked any system for monitoring or optimizing its energy usage, resulting in inefficient consumption patterns. Despite having ample unused rooftop space, the potential for solar power generation remained untapped. With increasing emphasis on sustainable infrastructure by the Tamil Nadu government, there was a clear need for a cost-effective, environmentally friendly energy solution that could reduce operational costs while contributing to the state’s renewable energy goals. The solar installation was envisioned to overcome these challenges by providing clean, reliable power, reducing carbon emissions, and transforming the court building into a model for green public infrastructure.
