Namakkal – Namakkal Court Building

We successfully executed a 60 kW grid-tied solar power installation at the Namakkal Court Building, offering a complete turnkey solution including site analysis, system design, panel installation, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring.

This government building, which experiences consistent daytime energy usage, now operates with a cleaner, more cost-effective energy supply. The system is equipped with 116 high-efficiency Novasis 550 Wp monocrystalline panels, expected to generate around 90,000 units (kWh) of clean electricity annually—significantly reducing dependency on grid power and lowering operational costs.

Aligned with the Tamil Nadu government’s vision for renewable energy adoption across public facilities, this solar project enhances the building’s energy resilience while supporting sustainability goals. Real-time performance monitoring and seamless integration with the existing power infrastructure ensure long-term operational efficiency.

Our engineering team ensured end-to-end execution, from energy audits to installation and final commissioning, with minimal disruption to court functions during the project.

The Challenge Of Project

Prior to the installation of the 60 kW solar system, the Namakkal Court Building was fully reliant on grid electricity, resulting in high energy costs and vulnerability to power disruptions. Despite having ample rooftop space, no solar infrastructure had been utilized to offset this demand. There was also a lack of smart monitoring tools, leading to inefficient energy management. With Tamil Nadu’s growing focus on clean and sustainable public infrastructure, the need for a dependable, cost-efficient solar energy system was evident. This project aimed to tackle these issues by introducing a robust solar setup that supports uninterrupted operations, cuts long-term electricity costs, and demonstrates environmental responsibility in government facilities.
